| Abstract | April 1996 saw the establishment of the Film and Media Arts Committtee as the fifth Arts Committee of the HKADC. After taking a few months to assess the field, the Committee has recently announced names of the major grantees for 1996. The resulting grants will serve the industry both practically and artistically. The Committee sits under the chairmanship of local film director and screenplay writer, Gordon Chan Ka-seung. He also talks about the establishment of the Committee in this article. |
