| Abstract | The individualized living planning process described in The Society of Homes for the Handicapped (SHH) represents the implementation of the SHH's central values. These values identify broad outcomes that the SHH believes are most important for people with mental handicap. They include rights equality, control and choice, family, community and social relationships. The plan describes life goals for the individual with mental handicap. The services and support that the individual may need in order to make positive change are the concern of the team in the plan development and implementation process. |
