| Abstract | In anticipation of the great prospect in the development of data communications in China, the MPT has formed the Data Communications Administration, and a special national conference was convened to discuss ways of the timely development of data communication systems and the relevant value-added services so as to meet the growing demand for swift means of information exchange for the fast developing national economy. To cope with the rapid development of data communications, leaders of the MPT are urging all the postal and telecommunications staff of fully recognize the situation, seize the opportunity of development, and make effort to provide the needed services in time to meet the requirement of greater development of national economy. |
