| Abstract | Jiangsu's strategic goals for developing telecommunications in the Ninth Five-Year Plan period (1996-2000) have been worked out. To meet the need for the construction of a high-speed information telecom network, attention will continue to be focussed on the updating of technological level of Jiangsu's telecom network in the five years after 1996. In the Ninth Five-Year Plan period, key technology and equipment of intelligent network will be imported and developed in a bid to develop intelligent network and make intelligent telecom services available to the public. |
