| Abstract | In the Ninth Five-Year Plan period (1996-2000), Jiangsu province will focus its attention in telecom construction on reinforcing telecom capability and raising its technological level. More money will be injected in the construction and expansion of 29 national and provincial optic-fiber trunks and satellite ground stations will be built in all 11 major cities of the province. Digital, integrated, intelligent and personal communications services will further be promoted. |
