| Abstract | Construction of tandem offices funded by UNICOM in Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shijiazhuang were completed and 130,000 lines were put into operation. Construction of UNICOM's tandem offices in 11 other cities have also got under way. This marked the fact that China's second TS and local telephone network was launched. |
