| Abstract | Correctional Services Industries (CSI) is an important part of the Correctional Services Department's (CSD) prison management programme. CSI aims to keep inmates purposefully and productively employed to reduce the risk of unrest caused through boredom or lack of constructive activities. More than 7,000 prisoners work in the 148 workshops in the territory's penal facilities. The advantages of CSI are featured in this article. |
