| Abstract | The application program for Phase I of the "School Administration and Management System (SAMS)" was formally introduced by the Education Department at the end of Novemeber, 1994 while Phase II and III will be implemented later. During Phase II, an application program for Financial Monitoring & Planning (FMP) will be provided by the Education Department to assist School Management Initiative (SMI) Participating Schools to enhance their efficiency in resources allocation and expenditure control. The functions of the application program for "Financial Monitoring and Planning" can be divided into five categories which are explained in this article. |
