| Abstract | Staff training plays an important role in the effective implementation of a new policy in schools. For this reason, schools joining the School Management and Administration System (SAMS) are provided with training on Basic Information Technology (IT), Local Area Network (LAN) Administration, and SAMS applications to ensure the smooth implementation of SAMS in schools. To facilitate the conduct of the above courses, the Education Department has set up five training centres at various regions of the territory. The facilities provided and the courses held by the Regional Training Centres are outlined in this article. |
