| Abstract | The estimate of 1995-96 cotton production in China by the Washington-based International Cotton Advisory Committee rises from 3.85 million tons in October 1995 to 4.35 million tons. As a consequence, estimates of imports by China are reduced from 600,000 tons to 500,000 in 1995-96, and from 450,000 tons to 200,000 in 1996-97. |
