| Abstract | The State Administration for the Inspection of Import and Export Commodities released a report on the results of its activities during the first half of 1995. Over 10,000 import and export shipments of substandard commodities, of a value totalling over US$1 billion, were detected. The inspection work successfully protected the interests of the commercial and industrial sectors and safeguarded the reputation of Chinese exports, it is stated. |
