| Abstract | The 11th annual textile economic, financial and operational conference was held in Shanghai in mid-November 1995 with 43 representatives from 23 provinces and regions attending. The representatives said at the conference that exports of textiles through foreign trade enterprises were not a good system and the function of textile plants should be expanded. The solution was to grant autonomous export rights to textile plants and to increase the export quota for cotton and poly-cotton yarn and fabrics. |
