| Abstract | The government has published a consultation paper on its plans to regulate the Internet in the territory. It is the culmination of seven months of work by an interdepartmental working group, led by the deputy secretary for broadcasting, culture and sport, and former commissioner of the Television and Entertainment Licensing Authority, Rita Lau. The paper is geared towards eliminating, or at least substantially controlling, pornography in cyberspace. |
