Abstract | Aided by the Internet, Hong Kong computer hackers are getting more sophisticated, police have warned, while lax security standards make infiltration easy. Police and security experts have predicted local business is in for a painful and expensive lesson unless they take hackers more seriously. Though computer hacking is nothing new in Hong Kong, police have noticed hackers are more expert now than they ever have been. Also, better hacking methods mean a computer criminal has less of a chance of being caught. |
