| Abstract | The Hong Kong Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints appears something of a curiosity in the midst of the low-rise residential buildings on Cornwall Street. Its scale and its granite finish suggest an institutional function, and from a distance, the shining gold dome denotes a religious building, but there is also the insinuation of a neo-classical, colonial style on closer scrutiny. |
