| Abstract | Ever since China moved earlier 1994 to cap foreign investors' returns on power generation projects at 12 per cent, developers like Consolidated Electric Power Aisa strongman Gordon Wu have said they would invest elsewhere if mainland officials continue to restrict their level of profit. The president and CEO of Asea Brown Boveri (ABB) Asic Pacific, Alexies Fries states that many investors have turned away from China and started looking at other options in Southeast and South Asia. |
