| Abstract | It is history, of course, that ot was a little ping-pong (table tennis) ball that set in motion the thaw in Sino-US relation a little more than 20 years ago. Indeed, when former US President Richard Nixon made his historic trip to Beijing in 1972, it was hailed as a triumph of ping-pong diplimacy. In 1994, the little white celluloid ball has not lost its bounce or its ability to make headlines. |
