| Abstract | Althrough China has the fastest growing economy in the world in 1994, it may not be a good thing. We shall see in the coming months following November 1994 if the Chinese Government will be able to maintain a proper balance in its efforts to bring inflation under control without starting an economic downslide and keeping unemployment to a minimum lest it fuels greater social resentment. |
