| Abstract | This paper will examine problems of community care policies for the elderly in Hong Kong. Myths and realities of the caring capacities of the community will be discussed. The findings of a study conducted in Tsuen Wan in 92-93, one of the old industrial areas in Hong Kong, would be used as a case study. Implications and suggestions for effective community care policies will be further explored. |
