| Abstract | This paper suggests the direction for service provision of social centres for the elderly people in Hong Kong in the coming decade. In view of the difference in staffing, administrative structure, membership quota and so on between the two types of centres, the present paper will only focus on the independent social centre; though some of the recommendations may also be of reference for social centre units within multi-service centres. |
