Not only did it have an unlucky "leap eighth moon", it was also the Year of Yihai, which traditionally is marked by the drawing of swords and the spilling of blood. Yet China was not beset by wars or disasters. Still, the People's Liberation Army has adopted measures to deal with any eventualities that may pose a threat to national sovereignty and security. |
