| Abstract | A leading Chinese businessman operating in Hongkong was arrested just before the Lantern Festival for alleged commercial crimes on the mainland. He was apprehended in Beijing. The arrest of Zhou Beifang, 41, chairman of Shougang Holding (Hongkong) and its five Hongkong-listed companies, was reported by Xinhua News agancy. A joint statement from Shougang (HK) and the five companies said Zhou had been suspended from all his duties. |
