| Abstract | In the first half of 1995, the growth of Hong Kong (HK) export trade was strong and investment activities were buoyant. Affected by a remarkable slowdown in the growth of consumer spending, however, it is estimated that the economic growth rates will be slightly lower than for the same period of last year. Inflation, meanwhile, has moved upwards. |
