| Abstract | Hong Kong's marine training facilities and prospects for trainees have improved considerably over the last year. All training with the exception of the Deck Officer Certificates of Competency, now takes place under the auspices of the Vocational Training Council. This has led to more integration and even the operation of jointly run courses. |
