AbstractConstraint is a word that crops up regularly in any conversation about Kai Tak airport. Only management of the highest efficiency has allowed the airport to process the 25 million passengers that pass through its corridors every year. With the number of passengers expected to grow at 8-9% per annum, and the new airport at Chek Lap Kok still three years from completion, at least, the constraints are becoming harder to overcome.
