| Abstract | China's textile export quotas are allocated twice a year, by way of provisional allocation in September of the preceding year, and a final allocation in March of the current year. China is currently experimenting with the method of quota allocation by public tender. It is likely that in future an increasing number of quota categories will be allocated by means of public tender. This paper introduces China's textile export quota system. |
