| Abstract | With Hongkong developed as it is today, both the government and citizens have an obligation to take care of the aged, the feeble, the sick and the disabled. The government should not use old people's welfare as some kind of chip in the game of politics. Instead, the government should hold some serious consultations with people of different classes and work out practicable solutions to the problem of providing a secure old age for retired citizens. |
