| Abstract | Hong Kong's investment in Malaysia appears to be losing its relative share after ranking between 1983 and 1988. Hong Kong could not even get into the top five in the first part of 1989, when the most important investors, in order of amounts invested, were Japan, Britain, Singapore, the United States and Germany. |
