| Abstract | Under the auspices of The Management Development Centre of Hong Kong (MDC) and with funding from the government's Service Support Fund, the Business Start-up Centre was officially opened in early 1999 to help nurture new businesses starting up during the economic slowdown. The article aims to share such experiences by covering the journey of two energetic business entrepreneurs. One is engaged in sports management and the other is in the field of wireless application protocol development for mobile phones. Both used the comprehensive services and facilities offered by the Business Start-up Centre to help them in their undertakings. |
