| Abstract | The article features that China's entry into the World Trade Organization (WTO) will have no effect on Hong Kong's participation in it, says T.H. Chau Secretary for Trade and Industry. Addressing the WTO plenary session in Seattle in November 1999, he assured the delegates that the Special Administrative Region (SAR)'s trade and economic policies will continue to be separate from China's.
