| Abstract | This is mid-year of the new millenium, the sixteenth year after the Hong Kong College of Family Physicians (HKCFP) has started its own Fellowship Examination and the fourteenth year of the Conjoint Fellowship Examination between the HKCFP and the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. From 2000 onwards, there will be increasing numbers of trainees taking the examination, as the Hospital Authority opened its door for family medicine vocational training 3 years ago and from July 2000, will be taking in more than one hundred trainees per year.
