| Abstract | Chronic pelvic pain (CPP) is a common condition encountered by family physicians and gynaecologists alike. The current understanding of this condition has made the notion of 'one disease, one pathology' inadequate both in its diagnosis and treatment. The establishment of pain clinic/centre provides and integrated and multidisciplinary service to chronic pain sufferers and has proven far superior to efforts by individual specialists. Advancement in endoscopic techniques has also helped significantly in the evaluation and eventual treatemnt of CPP. |
