| Abstract | The Land Development Corporation (LDC) unveiled at a media conference on 11 October 1997 the outline of a $30 billion urban renewal plan involving 25 sites in Hong Kong and Kowloon. The Corporation also launched on October 11 the first of a series of territory-wide household surveys lasting four days in the sites identified in Sham Shui Po, Mong Kok, Western and Wan Chai and Sai Wan Ho. |
