| Abstract | Several manufacturers in Hong Kong have successfully integrated wax setting in production of low-end diamond pieces of high quality finish and significantly increased their market share in this jewellery category. The Hong Kong Jewellery Industry Technology Centre (HKJITC) played an important part in introducing the technology to manufacturers in Hong Kong several years ago. HKJITC modified the technology to the specific requirements of the industry in Hong Kong before transferring the know-how to manufacturers. |
