| Abstract | The Hong Kong Institute of Landscape Architects (HKILA) conducted an award competition for 1997. Unlike past programs, the competition this time embraced all aspects of landscape architecture without division into categories and without geographical restrictions. The article features the Silver Award Winner, Lotus Hill Golf Resort Project in Panyu, and Award of Merit Winners, including Tai Po Waterfront Park, Private Garden, Tak Wah Park Phase 2, North District Hospital, Central Harbour Area -- outline development concepts, landscape strategy report for West Rail, Hong Kong Exposition: outline feasibility study, Salisbury Garden as well as Tin Shui Wai Tennis Centre. |
