| Abstract | The article features the third edition of Intertextile held in October 1997, which was organised jointly by Messe Frankfurt, the Sub-Council of the Textile Industry (CCPIT) and the China Textile International Exchange Centre (CTIEC). The show had 352 exhibitors from 18 countries which occupied two venues, International Exhibition Centre (INTEX) for apparel fabrics and ShanghaiMart for home textiles. The event drew over 9,000 visitors from 30 countries. Hong Kong is one of the exhibitors. |
