| Abstract | Textile manufacturing enterprises licensed to export and import have been doing well despite an overall decline in textile exports in China. Exports of clothing and textiles decreased by 5.7% during January-October 1996, but manufacturing enterprises authorised to engage in foreign trade have reported rising volume, says an official of the National Textile Council's economy and trade department. |
