| Abstract | Alan Lai Nin, Director-General of Trade, welcomed on April 5 a decision of the United States (US) Customs to lift from May 1 single entry bonds on eight categories of clothing exported from Hong Kong. Customs declared itself "satisfied with the progress and cooperation shown by the government of Hong Kong in working to identify and prosecute illegal transshippers over the last few months". |
