| Abstract | Since there is a worldwide decreasing trend and a low prevalence of anaerobic bacteraemia in Hong Kong, the cost effectiveness of routine use of anaerobic blood culture is in doubt. The article presents an evaluation of the practice in Princess Margaret Hospital to assess whether anaerobic blood culture bottles can be used selectively. |
