| Abstract | The Leveraged Foreign Exchange Trading Ordinance regulatory framework came into effect in September 1994. The Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) undertook, at the time, to review the framework after a period to ensure its appropriateness. The article provides a review of the Leveraged Foreign Exchange Trading Regulatory System, as discussed by the Legislative Council Panel on Financial Affairs on 7 April 1997. |
