| Abstract | It is four years' time since China planned the construction of national economy public informatization network project -- Golden Bridge Project in March 1993. The early stage of the project has been completed. First phase has been approved by State Planning Commission and listed as the major scheme in the Ninth Five-Year-Plan (FYP) period. The article reviews the early stage of Golden Bridge Project (1993-1996) and introduces the first phase of Golden Bridge Project (1997 -). |
