| Abstract | In China, where physiotherapy and occupational therapy are usually practised by doctors and nurses, specialised therapists are very few or virtually non-existent. Dr. L.K. Hung, Associate Professor of the Chinese University's Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, and Mrs. Cecilia Li Tsang Wai-ping, Assistant Professor of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University's Department of Rehabilitation Sciences, have been actively working with Shanghai Medical University to organize training programmes to promote the hand rehabilitation concept in China. |
