| Abstract | The economic crisis brought on by the recent devaluation of currencies in Southeast Asia has affected the jewellery industry in the region, many in the trade said. In Hong Kong, some jewellery manufacturers and exporters said the crsis will have a negative impact on exports and slow the industry growth in 1997. This article gives a brief discussion about the crisis. |
