| Abstract | The author travelled to China on three occasions in 1996 to lecture to law students at Peking and Nanjing Universities. He found that those Chinese students had a thirst for new knowledge, a desire to explore the thinking of the world beyond the Central Kingdom, a passion to become more highly qualified in their chosen profession and a wish to live in a wealthier and more transparent society. |
