| Abstract | Geriatric medicine is a branch of Medicine that covers care of elderly people. Family Medicine is clearly a very important part of care of elderly people, and the relationship between Geriatric Medicine and the former may be considered at two levels: professional training, and service provision. In this article, the author discusses professional training and identifies various needs in the provision of services. |
