| Abstract | The Regional Indoor Stadium in Fanling will be the only major indoor venue for sports. The major disign consideration for the main sports arena was to fulfil the stringent functional and area requirements of a sports venue, and to achieve structural feasibility of a large-span roof structure without sacrificing architectural quality. it was also important not to overlook the fundamental architectural issues of access, orientation , and identity. |
