| Abstract | The service plans offered by six licensed Personal Communications Services (PCS) operators in Hong Kong that have commenced operations offer cheaper airtime packages than existing cellular network operators. This article compares PCS with GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications) and tells the advantages and disadvantages of PCS. The service plans of different networks, including PCS, GSM, TDMA and CDMA, are also tabulated. |
