| Abstract | In 1979, the Chinese Academy of Science Beijing Institute of Zoology began research. Liu Yinzeng, an Ornithologist at the Institute, traveled 50,000 kilometres through a dozen provinces before finding his treasures, seven Crested Ibis in Yangxian county, Shaanxi province. Before the discovery, the bird was believed no longer exist in the wild by the Mainland scientists. |
