| Abstract | In April 1995, when the Hong Kong Arts Development Council (HKADC) was established, the subject of arts in education appeared on various agendas and discussions were held with professionals who paid close attention to arts in education. In September 1995, the Policy Committee endorsed the setting up of an Ad Hoc Group on Arts in Education. The aim of the Ad Hoc Group is to study how the HKADC can and should promote and formulate policies and plans related to arts in education in Hong Kong. |
