| Abstract | Important aspects in the promotion of socialist ethics and culture were adopted by the 14th Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party (CPC) at its 6th plenum in Beijing from 7-10 October 1996. Members concerned, heard and discussed the keynote speech by General Secretary Jiang Zemin, who reiterated the party leadership's resolution to push forward the ideological fortification of citizenry, public servants in particular. |
